Bright Stars Training has a total of 5 instructors. The

certifications in:

under the guidelines of The American Heart

- HEARTSAVER PLUS

basic First Aid and CPR under the guidelines of The
American Heart Association.

CPR for your business, office or school, this is the

Our First Aid course is a two-hour course in basic
life saving skills designed for non-medical
personnel. The emphasis of the course is to
provide the rescuer with easy to follow
emergency response techniques and methods in
anticipation of professional medical assistance.
Our CPR training demonstrates techniques of
performing rescue breathing, chest
compressions, and the Heimlich maneuver. The
course also instructs on risk factors, symptoms,
and determining specific vital signs prior to
providing aid. This course illustrates the correct
CPR procedures as well as outlines common CPR
mistakes.

- Occupational First Aid Re-certification -
Attendance at this one day refresher course will
ensure that your first aid skills are refreshed.
- Emergency First Aid - Concentrates on situations
most likely to arise in the workplace, this 1-day
course is ideally suited for those who want or
need to be able to deliver emergency first aid.
- Childcare First Aid - For participants working in
the childcare sector, this course content will be
tailored to meet their requirements. CPR for
infants and children will also be included in the
course.
- CPR for Family & Friends - will teach you
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the
importance of your role in the Chain of Survival
to save a life.
- Heartsaver CPR - This course is designed to
teach you CPR and relief of foreign-body airway
obstruction, you will go into more depth than the
CPR For Family & Friends course.
- Heartsaver AED - You will learn CPR and how to
use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
and the relief of choking for adults, children and
infants.
